WAYNE DYSINGER

Dr. Wayne Dysinger is a physician‑leader who founded Lifestyle Medical, a Direct Primary Care practice built on Lifestyle Medicine principles and a value‑based primary care model. He emphasizes personalized, preventive care that empowers patients to adopt healthier habits, focusing on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and community support. His approach integrates comprehensive health education with direct access to the physician, allowing longer visits and a partnership model that aligns with the DPC philosophy of high‑touch, low‑administrative overhead care.

Dr. Dysinger earned his M.D. from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1986 and completed a Family Medicine residency at Florida Hospital (Orlando, FL) followed by a Preventive Medicine residency at Loma Linda University (Loma Linda, CA). He also holds an MPH from Loma Linda University. Over more than four decades of practice, he has held academic leadership roles, served as Chair of the Preventive Medicine Department at Loma Linda, and was President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He continues to teach, mentor, and advocate for lifestyle‑focused primary care through national organizations and speaking engagements.
