About
Dr. Soon Kwark has been in practice in the Raleigh area for over 30 years. She was born in Korea, then established roots in the Louisiana bayou country. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans. She completed her family practice residency at Ghent Family Practice in Norfolk, Virginia, where she served as chief resident. She is board certified in family medicine and a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the NC Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Kwark believes that the best partner for a doctor is the patient, not a hospital or insurance company, and embraces the Direct Primary Care model to provide personalized, affordable care.
Outside of work, Dr. Kwark enjoys spending time with her grandson, practicing hot yoga, hiking nature trails, playing piano, and gardening.
