Dr. Shawn Cole is a double board‑certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine with over 20 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, and metabolic health. A graduate of University of Illinois College of Medicine and Yale‑New Haven Hospital Residency in Internal Medicine, he also holds master’s degrees in Health Administration and Applied Nutrition. Known for his patient‑first approach, Dr. Cole has led innovative care models at Yale‑New Haven Health and the Veterans Affairs Health Care System and has been a leader and advisor for numerous telehealth organizations over the last decade. His clinical passions include obesity medicine, men’s and women’s wellness, hormone optimization, cardiometabolic health, and direct primary care. Dr. Cole employs a caring, personalized approach to help individuals achieve their health goals and is licensed in all 50 states.
