Maryal Concepcion

Dr. Maryal Concepcion is a board‑certified family physician and California native with Filipino roots. She earned a double‑major B.S. in Anthropology and B.A. in Evolution & Ecology from the University of California at Davis in 2005 and received her M.D. from Creighton University School of Medicine in 2011. After completing a family‑medicine residency at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, CA, she moved to Arnold, CA, where she has been providing full‑scope, patient‑centered care since 2012. In 2021 she founded Big Trees MD, a Direct Primary Care practice that emphasizes direct doctor‑patient relationships, same‑day access, and comprehensive care for all ages, from preventive health to obstetrics and minor procedures. Dr. Concepcion is also a national DPC advocate, podcast host (My DPC Story), speaker on healthcare policy, and mentor to future physicians.
