Kelly Berkram

Dr. Kelly Berkram is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician with roughly 20 years of experience. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and completed a family medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. During her training she spent two months on rotations in Kenya, Africa, which broadened her perspective on global health. Dr. Berkram’s favorite part of family medicine is the deep connection she builds with patients of all ages, and she is known as an empathetic listener who blends medical expertise with patient autonomy.

At Apex Direct Care in Kalispell, Montana, Dr. Berkram practices Direct Primary Care, a model that removes third‑party insurance barriers and allows her to spend more time with each patient. She believes that a direct relationship fosters better preventive care, personalized treatment plans, and stronger trust. Outside of work she enjoys family activities, time at the lake, and travel, and she is actively involved in her community through patient education and support.
