KATHERINE WELCH
Pediatrics
About
Dr. Katherine Welch is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric internship and residency at University of Alabama‑Birmingham. Immediately after completing her residency in 2000, she served in medical missions in Thailand and China, and later spent 19 years in Asia and 3 years in Europe working at the intersection of health and human trafficking. She relocated to Indianapolis in 2022 and continues her anti‑trafficking work, developing educational tools for health‑care professionals and survivor assistance programs.
In 2024 Dr. Welch launched her solo Direct Primary Care practice, Imago Dei Restorative Health, embracing a DPC philosophy that emphasizes ample time with patients, holistic care, and the freedom to practice medicine without insurance constraints. She combines modern medicine with functional and spiritual approaches to support children’s health and overall family wellness.
