Dr. Josh Leavitt, DO is a Board‑Certified Family Physician who has built his career around the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. He believes that patients deserve uninterrupted, relationship‑focused care without the barriers of insurance paperwork, copays, or rushed appointments. By offering a membership‑based practice, Dr. Leavitt provides same‑day or next‑day visits, extended appointment times, and direct communication via phone or text, allowing him to get to know each patient’s health story and tailor preventive and chronic‑disease management to their individual needs.

He earned his undergraduate biology degree at the University of Utah, his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Touro Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. In addition to primary‑care services, Dr. Leavitt is a proceduralist who performs minor surgeries in‑office and serves as a hospice director, reflecting his commitment to comprehensive, whole‑person care. Fluent in Spanish and deeply involved in the Treasure Valley community, he continues to expand his DPC practice to multiple locations throughout Idaho.
