About

Dr. Benjamin Larsen, known as Dr. Ben, was born in Eastern Idaho and has been a local family physician in Ogden, Utah since 2018, after moving from San Antonio, Texas. His decision to pursue Family Medicine stemmed from a deep desire to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Dr. Ben’s lifelong passion for running, which began at age twelve, sparked his interest in preventative and integrative medicine, and he emphasizes disease prevention as a cornerstone of his practice.

At Assured Direct Care, Dr. Larsen embraces the Direct Primary Care model by offering personalized, affordable, and comprehensive care that prioritizes strong patient‑provider relationships. He combines traditional family medicine with a holistic, functional approach, utilizing tools such as sports medicine techniques and point‑of‑care ultrasound to keep care low‑cost while maintaining high quality. Outside the clinic, Dr. Ben enjoys an active family life with his wife Jessica and their four children, participates in community church activities, and pursues hobbies including running (he has qualified for the Boston Marathon), piano, woodworking, gardening, and LEGO building.
