ZAIN HAKEEM

Dr. Zain Hakeem, DO, is the founder and physician at RiverRock Medical Clinic in Austin, TX. He grew up in Baton Rouge and completed his undergraduate training in philosophy at LSU. He earned his osteopathic medical degree at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and then completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Hakeem is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. In addition to his work at RiverRock, he continues to practice hospital medicine to maintain acute care skills and to stay aware of the cost of errors in primary care. His DPC philosophy emphasizes continuous optimization of health and life purpose, offering patients a personalized, comprehensive approach to achieving optimal health while pursuing their personal aspirations.
