WILLIAM STEELMAN

Dr. William Steelman, DO, FACOI, was born in Virginia Beach and grew up in a U.S. Navy family, moving frequently along the East Coast before settling in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, followed by graduate studies in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Steelman then attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for osteopathic medical school. After more than a decade of practice as a hospitalist, he founded Steelman Medical Group to provide Direct Primary Care that emphasizes personal patient relationships, limited panel sizes, and care without the burdens of insurance bureaucracy.
