WESLEY EICHORN
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Wesley Eichorn, DO, RN, is a Board‑Certified Family Medicine physician who founded Citadel Health Center as a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. His journey began in nursing, driven by a desire to relieve suffering, and later led him to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University. He completed a Family Medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and a fellowship in Obesity Medicine. Dr. Eichorn’s clinical focus is metabolic health, especially insulin resistance, and he treats conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, PCOS, infertility, and related cancers.
At Citadel Health Center, Dr. Eichorn emphasizes a patient‑centered DPC philosophy: long, unhurried appointments, direct access via phone or text, and individualized care informed by the latest evidence rather than rigid guidelines. The practice’s Christian‑based values stress informed choice, respect, and holistic well‑being—mind, body, and spirit. Outside of work he enjoys time with his wife and three children, gardening, and exploring how Bitcoin can address societal challenges.
