Vidal Antonio Cerna

Vidal "Tony" Cerna, APRN, FNP-C is a board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in primary and urgent care. He is the lead provider at Progressive Healthcare DPC, where he champions a Direct Primary Care model that removes insurance barriers and offers patients unlimited, personalized visits, longer appointments, and direct communication through a secure app. Cerna’s philosophy centers on building lasting relationships, providing proactive, preventive care, and empowering patients to take control of their health.

Outside the clinic, Cerna is passionate about preventive medicine, chronic disease management, men’s health, and patient advocacy. He enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and giving back to the Tampa Bay community he calls home.
