Tom Everts

Tom Everts, PA-C, was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up on an orange grove in southwest Florida. He has extensive experience using integrative and lifestyle medicine to manage both acute and chronic conditions, emphasizing a patient‑focused, team‑based approach. Tom believes that truly listening to patients allows him to guide them in ways that fit their individual needs. He has practiced in diverse health‑care settings and is excited to serve the Asheville community through Integrative Family Medicine of Asheville. Tom graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 with a focus in biology and chemistry and completed his physician‑assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University in 2013. After seven years working in a community health center in Colorado, he pursued certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine, integrating functional and lifestyle medicine tools into his practice.
