Timothy Blain

Dr. Timothy Blain, MD, is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1996 and completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois in 2000. After establishing his practice, Dr. Blain and his family moved to Englewood, Florida in 2010, where he has been providing patient care for the community.

In 2020, Dr. Blain transitioned his practice to the Direct Primary Care model at Southwest Florida Direct Primary Care. He emphasizes a patient‑centered approach with 30‑60 minute visits, unlimited same‑day appointments, and 24/7 access via phone, text, email, and telehealth. By eliminating insurance bureaucracy, he can spend more time with each patient, focusing on comprehensive preventive care, chronic disease management, and personalized health education.
