THUHUONG TRINH

Dr. ThuHuong Trinh has been in private practice for over twenty‑five years, dedicating her career to providing personalized, relationship‑based primary care. She believes that Direct Primary Care allows her to spend the time patients need, eliminate insurance barriers, and focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education. Dr. Trinh’s approach emphasizes continuity of care, holistic wellness, and a partnership model where patients are active participants in their health decisions.

Her medical interests include women’s health, dermatology, chronic pain, and preventive care. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Princeton University and received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, completing a Family Practice Residency (1994‑1997). Board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians since 1994, Dr. Trinh also co‑founded St. Joseph Primary Care in 2014, a not‑for‑profit DPC practice serving the Raleigh community.
