About
Dr. Tessa Reinke is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who started Polaris Medical to provide excellent primary care for all ages focusing on patient education, wellness, disease prevention and chronic disease management. She studied Sociology and Public Health at Dartmouth College and then stayed in rural New Hampshire for medical school at the Dartmouth-Geisel School of Medicine. She attended residency at Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency, where, along with learning to care for patients across the age spectrum, she undertook intensive training in women’s health. She has also had the privilege to explore her interest in international medicine, working in clinics in Kenya, Honduras, and Papua New Guinea. After graduating from residency, Dr. Reinke has worked as a full‑spectrum family medicine physician first in rural eastern Washington and then, more recently, in north Idaho.
