TERRI ALVAREZ

Terri Alvarez, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, a graduate of The University of Texas at Houston, is a family medicine nurse practitioner serving Houston patients from adolescents to geriatrics. She is fluent in Spanish and has experience in assessing and treating both acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Terri Alvarez did bedside nursing at Ben Taub County Hospital for two years, caring for post‑surgical patients in the ICU and IMU. After earning her nurse practitioner license, she worked in an outpatient clinic with Memorial Hermann Medical Group in Katy, providing primary and acute care for five years. She then spent a year in gynecologic oncology and later cared for patients in inpatient psychiatric facilities. In October 2023, she co‑founded Luxe Primary Practice to bring a Direct Primary Care model focused on personalized, family‑oriented care.
