TERESA NOVAK

Teresa Novak, PA‑C, MPAS, brings over three decades of family medicine experience to Access Family Medicine’s Direct Primary Care model. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Doane College in 1986, she completed a Physician Assistant program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990 and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies with a Family Medicine emphasis in 2003. She began her career providing family and hospital medicine in rural Nebraska (1990‑1993) and has since served the Lincoln community, including 14 years at a satellite clinic in Ashland, building lasting relationships across generations.

At Access Family Medicine, Teresa is committed to the DPC philosophy of personalized, accessible care with no insurance barriers. She emphasizes listening closely to patients, addressing health concerns proactively, and offering same‑day appointments and direct communication through phone, text, and email. Her approach reflects a belief that realistic expectations and compassionate partnership lead to better health outcomes for families in the community.
