About
Tara Klofta, APRN‑CNP, grew up in Michigan and moved to Logan County in 2003 after earning her bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University. She continued her nursing education at Rhodes State College and completed a master’s program at the University of Phoenix. From 2011 to 2022 she practiced at Mary Rutan Hospital, spending eight years on the Anesthesia Team where she focused on pre‑operative patient optimization. In 2022 she joined Hickory Medical Direct Primary Care, drawn by the practice’s Direct Primary Care model that emphasizes affordable, personalized, and relationship‑based primary care. Tara is committed to helping patients achieve their wellness goals through comprehensive, low‑cost primary care and preventive health services. She lives with her husband, Josh, and their three children in Huntsville, Ohio.
