Tania Velez

Dr. Tania Enid Velez is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and the founder of Velez Family Health, located in the Metro West area of Orlando, Florida. Driven by a deep passion for helping others and serving her community, Dr. Velez integrates conventional medicine with evidence‑based alternative therapies, offering her patients a holistic and personalized approach to healthcare. Her goal is to not only treat illnesses but to empower her patients to achieve lifelong health and wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida, where she also completed a minor in Business. Dr. Velez went on to obtain her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, followed by completing her Family Medicine residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Pursuing her passion for holistic care, she completed a two‑year fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in International Medicine and Public Health from the Institute for International Medicine.
