Dr. Taher Sobhy, MD, is a Board Certified Family Physician with more than 30 years of experience in primary care. He earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in 1985 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Peter Hospital in Cairo. Since moving to Illinois, Dr. Sobhy has practiced family medicine in Libertyville and Gurnee, serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Chicago Medical School and as past President of the medical staff at Advocate Condell Medical Center. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic, allowing him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
