Suzy Lessing

Dr. Suzy Lessing was born in Phoenix, Arizona and completed her college and medical school at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Colorado and has over a decade of experience in a variety of primary care settings, including early career work in Denver and a stint in South Carolina before relocating to Austin in 2019.

At DirectMed DPC in Lakeway, Dr. Lessing embraces the Direct Primary Care model by taking ample time to get to know each patient, focusing on preventive strategies and personalized treatment plans. She believes that food and exercise are medicine and is dedicated to empowering patients with the knowledge and tools for optimal health. As an internal medicine physician, she provides comprehensive adult care, including gender‑affirming hormone therapy, PrEP for HIV prevention, and management of common mental health disorders.
