Summer Alvarez

Dr. Summer Bryant Alvarez, DO, is a family medicine physician born and raised in South Georgia. She graduated from Cook High School in 2014, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valdosta State University in 2017, and obtained her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 2021. Dr. Alvarez completed her residency in Family Medicine at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital and became board‑certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. She co‑founded Southern Roots DPC with her husband, Dr. Raymond Alvarez, and is dedicated to providing affordable, high‑quality, relationship‑focused direct primary care.
