About

Dr. Phillips served our nation's heroes at the Department of Veterans Affairs from 2013-2023 in outpatient primary care. She has been Medical Director for two community‑based outpatient clinics in Princeton, West Virginia, and Athens, Georgia. She has extensive experience caring for children, adolescents, and college‑age adults and has treated thousands of patients with GLP‑1 medications, becoming one of the most experienced physicians in the United States at managing and dosing these weight‑loss drugs. She strives to make these medications accessible and affordable for those who need them most.

Dr. Phillips holds a certification in International Medicine and has led and participated in many international mission trips, including service at the Baptist Hospital in Ghana, Africa. Together with her office manager Eric, she founded Spirit‑Led Expeditions in 2006, leading teams to Peru and other locations.

In 2020 she and her family moved to Royston, Georgia to run Phillips Ridge Farm, raising grass‑fed, grass‑finished beef. She enjoys time with her husband, two children, grandchildren, and farm animals, and spends spare time quilting, knitting, and hosting game nights. She and her family are active members of Royston Baptist Church.
