STACEY KUHFAHL
Internal Medicine
About
Dr. Stacey Kuhfahl is a board‑certified internal medicine physician. She developed her initial love for the beach growing up at the Jersey shore. She graduated from the honors program at La Salle University in Philadelphia with a degree in Biology in 2004. She continued on to both medical school and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she served as Chief Intern. She embraced the osteopathic philosophy of whole‑person centered care and began to take an interest in nutrition and how healthy choices can prevent and cure chronic illness. She served as a hospitalist physician and academic professor in the Kennedy‑Jefferson Health System where she managed and coordinated care of acutely ill patients. She was discouraged by the barriers that traditional health insurance places on the patient‑physician relationship and embarked on a 10+‑year career advocating on behalf of patients and hospitals. In 2020 she relocated to Lewes, Delaware with her husband, emergency physician Keith, and launched Delta Health and Wellness, a direct primary care practice focused on accessible, personalized care. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities, the beach, and spending time with her husband and three children.
