SHIRLEY OLSON

Shirley Olson, NP-C, IFMCP, is a functional medicine specialist and board‑certified nurse practitioner at Ridgway Center for Whole Health. She earned a nursing degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado. Shirley is board certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her career spans various nursing roles, including primary care provider, and she is certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Bredesen Protocol™.

Shirley’s own experience with functional medicine drives her empathetic and compassionate approach. She believes in individualized care, incorporating nutrition, supplementation, movement, relaxation, meditation, and spirituality into treatment plans.
