SHELBY SMITH

Dr. Shelby Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, and completed his Family Medicine residency at the Cox Family Medicine Residency in Springfield, Missouri (2007). He is board certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Smith is a dedicated Direct Primary Care (DPC) physician who believes that high‑quality primary care should be affordable, accessible, and free from the constraints of traditional insurance models.

In his practice at Equality Healthcare, Dr. Smith emphasizes extended, relaxed visits that allow ample time to get to know each patient’s unique health needs. He prioritizes building long‑term relationships, offering same‑day or next‑day appointments, and providing personalized care without the pressures of corporate medicine.
