SHEHZAD JINNAH

Dr. Shehzad Jinnah, MD, is the founder of Jinnah Internal Medicine, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Eugene, Oregon. He describes his approach as "old‑fashioned": listen first, examine next, investigate last. By eliminating insurance middle‑men, he provides patients with unlimited access via phone, text, and email, and offers comprehensive internal‑medicine services such as annual physicals, preventive care, and chronic disease management. He believes that medicine is both an art and a science and that a long‑term doctor‑patient relationship is essential for health.

Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Jinnah completed his medical degree at the University of Karachi/Baqai Medical College in 1987, followed by postgraduate training in the United Kingdom where he became a member of the Royal College of Physicians. After more than three decades of practice, including a tenure at PeaceHealth, he moved to Eugene ten years ago to launch his DPC model, allowing him to practice medicine the way he was trained—focused on patient care rather than paperwork.
