SHAWN WADSWORTH

Dr. Shawn Wadsworth, D.O., was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Kansas City. He graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School and attended Avila University on a baseball scholarship, earning a cum laude B.S. in biology and chemistry with a minor in mathematics. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master of Science in biomedical sciences, and a Master of Arts in bioethics from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Wadsworth completed his residency in family medicine at UMKC Family Medicine in Kansas City, training at Truman Medical Center – Lakewood, Truman Medical Center – Hospital Hill, and Children’s Mercy Hospital. He is board‑certified in family medicine and believes in providing excellent, accessible, personal, affordable, and efficient care—core principles of the Direct Primary Care model practiced at AtlasMD.
