Dr. Seth Winterton, MD founded Waves Family Health to bring affordable, transparent Direct Primary Care to the Oviedo community. By eliminating insurance middle‑men, he offers patients a simple membership model that provides unlimited visits, same‑day or next‑day appointments, and direct communication via phone, text, and email. His DPC philosophy centers on building long‑term relationships, giving each family the time and attention needed for comprehensive, preventive care.
Dr. Winterton earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah (2015‑2018). After practicing full‑spectrum family medicine in a rural Iowa community and working in emergency medicine, he brought his experience to Central Florida, where he now leads a practice focused on personalized, patient‑first care.
