SETH SPENCER

Dr. Seth Spencer, a board‑certified pediatrician, is thrilled to be joining the team at Thrive Pediatrics and Wellness! Having experienced cancer as a teenager, Dr. Spencer knows firsthand what it’s like to be a patient, which has driven his passion for pediatrics and helping the healing process of children and families through difficult times. Dr. Spencer is excited about the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, as an opportunity to build strong, meaningful relationships with patients and families and to focus on their overall well‑being without the distractions of the traditional healthcare model. Originally from Colorado, Dr. Spencer completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Brigham Young University. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine where he met his wife, Abby. Dr. Spencer completed pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond and began practicing pediatrics out west. Outside of work, Dr. Spencer loves spending time with his family, including his wife Abby, their two young daughters Maisie and Elsie, and their two golden retrievers. They are active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints and enjoy community events, games, LEGOs, and the outdoors.
