Sarah Florence

Dr. Sarah Florence is a board‑certified family medicine physician who founded Sojourn Family Medicine to provide Direct Primary Care. She believes in building lasting relationships with patients, offering same‑day visits, direct calls, and messaging so that each person feels heard and known. Her practice emphasizes personalized, comprehensive care without the constraints of insurance bureaucracy, allowing her to spend quality time with families and focus on preventive health.

She grew up in Fenton, attended Rockhurst University for her undergraduate studies, earned her medical degree at Kansas City University, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Ascension Via Christi Hospitals in Wichita, KS. After two years of outpatient family and obstetrical care in rural Iowa, she returned to the St. Louis area to care for families throughout the metro region.
