SARA DELAPORTA

Dr. Sara Delaporta is a board‑certified family physician who grew up in Connecticut. She earned her undergraduate degree at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and attended the University of Vermont College of Medicine for medical school. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Brown Family Medicine in Rhode Island. Dr. Delaporta brings nearly 12 years of experience from a local Federally Qualified Health Center, where she cared for a diverse patient population and a broad range of health conditions.

She is passionate about primary care and prevention, reproductive health, size‑inclusive health care, and addiction medicine, including prescribing buprenorphine when needed. Dr. Delaporta joined Direct Doctors, a Direct Primary Care practice in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, in May 2023, where she embraces the DPC model of longer visits, direct patient access, and transparent, upfront pricing.
