SANDY GIBSON

Sandy Gibson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology from Austin Peay State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University, and a Master of Science in Adult Acute and Continuing Care Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She spent 12 years as a Registered Nurse in adult and pediatric emergency rooms, intensive care, and trauma surgery before becoming a board‑certified Nurse Practitioner. For the past 11 years she has practiced in primary care, college health, urgent care, community health, and urology, bringing a holistic, preventive‑focused approach to patient care.

At Mountain Healthcare, PLLC – a Direct Primary Care practice – Sandy embraces the DPC philosophy of accessible, affordable, and personalized care. She emphasizes disease prevention, quick access for acute illnesses, and building lasting relationships with patients. Outside of medicine she enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, and playing gospel hymns with her family, and she volunteers as a Bible teacher and youth sports coach in her community.
