Dr. Salwa Bakkali-Derksen is a highly skilled internal medicine physician with extensive experience in treating diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and heart disease. She has a strong interest in rheumatology, naturopathic medicine, and women’s health. With over a decade of experience as both a hospitalist and outpatient clinician at Mayo Clinic and Allina Health, Dr. Bakkali-Derksen is renowned for providing outstanding patient care. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Bakkali-Derksen brings professional experience in quality assurance, teaching, and mentorship.
