RYAN ROWAN

Ryan D. Rowan, PA‑C, is a Board Certified Physician Associate specializing in primary care at Temecula Medical Group. He emphasizes a Direct Primary Care (DPC) philosophy, focusing on building lasting relationships with patients, taking the time to learn about their lives, and creating personalized health plans that prioritize prevention and continuity of care. Rowan believes that a DPC model allows for more direct communication, longer appointments, and a collaborative approach to health that empowers patients to take an active role in their wellbeing.

Born and raised in Dana Point and Mission Viejo, California, Rowan earned his BA from Brigham Young University before working as a medical interpreter for Spanish‑speaking patients. He completed Drexel University’s Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program, receiving a Master of Health Science in 2007, and is trained in Osteopathic Manipulation Technique of the spine. His experience includes serving underserved populations in federally qualified health centers across Central California and Idaho, where he led a rural health clinic for four years. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, he is dedicated to culturally competent care and community health improvement.
