ROGER CUMMINS
Physician Assistant
About
Roger Cummins, PA‑C, is a Physician Assistant certified in Family Practice who grew up in Roseburg, Oregon. After completing an Associate of Science in Business and a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Imaging at Oregon Institute of Technology, he earned his medical degree in 1996 from the University of Washington Medical School – MEDEX Northwest. He then returned to Oregon, completing two years of resident‑type training in Phoenix before spending eleven years at Merle West Medical Center working in Interventional Radiology and cardiovascular procedures.
In 2017 Roger founded the first Direct Primary Care clinic in Klamath Falls, bringing a “old‑school” approach with modern flexibility to his patients. The DPC model allows him to offer longer 45‑minute visits, same‑day or after‑hours appointments, and direct communication via phone, email, and text. He emphasizes a partnership with patients, encouraging them to take an active role in their health while providing personalized, accessible care without the constraints of traditional insurance‑driven practices.
