Dr. Roderick Bennett, MD, is a board‑certified Emergency Medicine physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience. He serves as the Medical Director of SOS Mobile Medical Care, where he leads a team that delivers primary, urgent, and specialty care directly in patients’ homes. Dr. Bennett’s extensive background in emergency medicine and hospital leadership informs his commitment to rapid, high‑quality care in the comfort of the patient’s own environment.

At SOS Mobile Medical Care, Dr. Bennett embraces the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, offering 24‑hour access to his personal medical provider, transparent cash‑based pricing, and a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. He believes that care should be delivered where patients feel most comfortable and that eliminating insurance billing barriers allows for longer, more personalized visits and stronger patient‑provider relationships.

Dr. Bennett earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University, his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine (Class of 2003), and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where he also served as chief resident. He holds an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). His leadership experience spans multiple emergency departments and fire rescue services, which he now leverages to provide innovative, patient‑centered care through SOS Mobile Medical Care.
