About
Dr. Robyn Joseph Gutman, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College in Italian Literature and spent a year studying at the University of Florence in Italy. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. After moving to Scottsdale 20 years ago, she spent nearly two decades providing comprehensive pediatric care in Phoenix, including for high‑acuity, medically fragile children. Dr. Gutman founded Birdie Pediatrics to deliver Direct Primary Care, emphasizing a doctor‑patient relationship, unlimited visits, extended appointments, and house‑call services. She is a guest lecturer on adolescent medicine at Northern Arizona University and a national speaker and leader in the pediatric DPC community, mentoring other physicians to adopt this personalized care model.
