ROBERT FORESTER

Dr. Robert Forester, MD, FAAFP co‑founded St. Luke's Family Practice in Modesto, California, and served as a family physician there from 1989 until his retirement in 2020. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis in 1986 and completed a Family Practice Residency in Modesto (1986‑1989). Dr. Forester is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2005. His clinical interests include skin disorders, preventive cardiology, and medical ethics.

Although retired from daily clinical duties, Dr. Forester remains an active board member of St. Luke's Family Practice and occasionally provides coverage when needed. He is committed to the Direct Primary Care model’s emphasis on personalized, relationship‑based care, and he continues to support the practice’s mission of delivering high‑quality, affordable primary care to the community.
