Dr. Rebecca Berens is a board‑certified Family Medicine physician and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She earned a B.A. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University and her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in 2013. After medical school she completed a residency in Family Medicine at Providence Hospital, affiliated with Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Berens previously worked in safety‑net clinics and as an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine before founding Vida Family Medicine, a Direct Primary Care practice in the Greater Houston area.
