About
Dr. Raphael Knauf, M.D. grew up in Germany and spent a year at The Camphill School before attending medical school at the Friedrich‑Alexander‑University Erlangen‑Nuremberg. He completed clinical rotations at McGill University in Canada and the Ita Wegman Klinik in Switzerland. After graduating in 2010, he worked at the Ita Wegman Klinik as a resident physician for one year and then completed a four‑year residency in Family Medicine at Middlesex Hospital in Connecticut. During his residency he also pursued a two‑year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona. He is board‑certified in Family Medicine and certified in Anthroposophic Medicine. Dr. Knauf is dedicated to providing integrative, anthroposophic family medicine, meeting each patient as an individual and accompanying them on their path to well‑being. He lives with his wife and two children at The Camphill School, where he also serves as the school physician. His interests include pediatrics, child development, preventive care, and music.
