RANDALL NATIONS
Family Medicine
About
Dr. Randy Nations has been caring for families and individuals in Summit County for over 20 years, providing care to newborns, centenarians, and everyone in between. He rediscovered his passion for medicine through the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, which restores the bond between patient and physician by offering personalized, affordable, and accessible care. Dr. Nations emphasizes long‑term relationships, continuity of care, and a patient‑centered approach that leverages the flexibility of DPC to improve communication and health outcomes.
Before founding Mountain Doc DPC, Dr. Nations served the community in a variety of roles, including work for county government HHS, the Health Care for the Homeless Center, and the Summit County Community College. He spent more than a decade as a clinician and Lead Medical Provider for school‑based health clinics. Born in Panama, he is fluent in Spanish and English and enjoys the outdoors, snowmobiling, kiteboarding, motorcycles, and general aviation.
