RACHEL ROMBOUGH

Rachel Rombough started her career as a Registered Nurse after graduating from Crouse School of Nursing in 2006. She worked several years in the Emergency Room before completing her Family Nurse Practitioner education at Upstate Medical University, graduating in 2014. She then served the underserved population of Syracuse at St. Joseph’s Primary Care Center West, where she honed her skills caring for patients with complex medical needs. Rachel’s experience with limited‑access patients inspired her to adopt a Direct Primary Care model that treats patients as friends, emphasizing personalized, non‑judgmental care and long‑term health partnerships.

In 2023 she founded Direct Primary Care of Burleson, a membership‑based practice that removes insurance barriers, offers affordable comprehensive primary care, and provides services such as vaccine administration and hormone replacement therapy. She collaborates with over 120 specialists for virtual consultations and works with local employers to bring alternative health benefits to the community, reflecting her commitment to accessible, patient‑centered care.
