Rachal Mittleman

Dr. Rachal Mittleman, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Culinary Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at University of Tennessee in Memphis and graduated medical school at University of Toledo, formerly Medical College of Ohio. In addition, she is educated in Functional Medicine through The Institute of Functional Medicine, has completed Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP). Dr. Mittleman has a passion for helping people and simplifying healthcare. The path to starting this practice has been through invaluable experience ranging from urban to rural, high acuity to chronic and preventative care. She has expertise in diagnosis and management of common diseases including asthma, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, depression and anxiety as well as various types of acute illness and evaluation of difficult to diagnose conditions. She is devoted to the best care possible for the situation. This can mean using medication and advanced technology, but often, there is benefit from going back to the basics of nutrition, lifestyle, and evaluation of life stressors. Dr. Mittleman has 2 children, Hazel and Felix. She enjoys spending time in nature, with family and friends and listening to live music.
