Dr. R. Michele Emery, MD, MPHTM, IFMCP, is Board‑Certified in Family Medicine and Certified in Functional Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1988, and completed her residency in Family Practice at Florida Hospital in Orlando in 1991. Dr. Emery also holds certifications in Lifestyle Medicine and Functional Medicine, emphasizing a holistic, integrative approach to healing.

She is passionate about the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model because it allows her to spend meaningful, uninterrupted time with each patient, focusing on preventive care, personalized treatment plans, and building lasting doctor‑patient relationships. Dr. Emery combines her clinical expertise with a commitment to whole‑person health, encouraging patients to adopt healthy habits of body, mind, and spirit.

Having served as a missionary physician in Guatemala for four years, she brings a global perspective and deep compassion to her practice.
