Dr. Patrick Rohal opened CovenantMD in January 2016 as a Direct Primary Care practice, aiming to restore the doctor‑patient relationship by eliminating insurance middlemen and offering same‑day acute appointments, extended visits, house calls, and telemedicine. He emphasizes personalized, affordable primary care that focuses on preventive health and building long‑term relationships with families in Lancaster and York, Pennsylvania.

Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Rohal earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University before receiving his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center and is board‑certified in Family Medicine. A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, he is also an active member and elder of his local church, enjoying outdoor activities and music with his family.
