ORSOLYA POLGAR

Dr. Orsolya Polgar, MD, PhD, is an internist with over 32 years of experience who now leads the Direct Primary Care practice at Howard County Direct Primary Care. Graduating summa cum laude from Albert Szent‑Györgyi Medical School at the University of Szeged in 1994, she completed her internal medicine residency and served as an internist at Hungary’s most prestigious military hospital. Dr. Polgar chose the Direct Primary Care model because it aligns with her belief that patients deserve uninterrupted, personalized care without the constraints of insurance bureaucracy, allowing her to spend more time listening, diagnosing, and treating each individual.
