Naveen Maliakkal

Dr. Naveen Maliakkal is a board‑certified internal medicine physician practicing in the Jacksonville area. He chose the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model to provide highly personalized care, aiming to empower each patient to achieve lasting health and eventually no longer need his services. Dr. Maliakkal is passionate about therapeutic carbohydrate restriction and nutritional ketosis as tools to improve metabolic health. He integrates this philosophy into his practice, focusing on lifestyle, diet, and individualized treatment plans.

He earned his medical degree at Florida Atlantic University and completed his residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Outside of clinical work, Dr. Maliakkal and his family raise grass‑fed livestock and advocate for low‑PUFA, whole‑food nutrition, reflecting his commitment to preventive health and patient education.
