Dr. Nathan Ker, DO, has spent nearly two decades caring for patients in Wyoming. After serving as one of the original hospitalists and later directing the hospitalist program at Wyoming Medical Center, he recognized the limitations of traditional fee‑for‑service care. Determined to give patients more time, transparency, and choice, Dr. Ker founded RISE Direct Primary Care, a membership‑based practice that removes insurance middlemen and focuses on personalized, affordable primary care for individuals and families.
At RISE, Dr. Ker emphasizes a patient‑centered philosophy: same‑day access, home visits, direct communication via phone or text, and a commitment to preventive health. He believes that empowering patients with freedom over their healthcare decisions leads to better outcomes and stronger community health. When not seeing patients, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time on his farm with his family.
